Ritenour's 2025 Art Show Features More than 1,000 Pieces of Art

Hundreds of students, families and community members enjoyed more than 1,000 pieces of art created by Ritenour’s K-12 students during the District Art Show, held April 9-22 in the Ritenour Auditorium lobby.  

A closing reception for the young artists was held April 22 with a bonus performance by the Ritenour High School quartet and videos of special art projects.

Art from 42 high school, middle school and elementary students received top ribbons for Best of Show and Best of School. 

This year’s Best of Show honorees are: 

• Best of Show/High School Level: Korban McNabb, senior; Brittani Sorroza, junior; William Mitchell, sophomore
• Best of Show/Middle School Level: Guadelupe Alcaraz, Hoech Middle School, eighth grade; Max McLeod and Zully Trujillo, Ritenour Middle School, eighth grade
• Best of Show/Elementary Level: Alana Corirossi, Iveland Elementary, fifth grade; Mateo Flores Duran, Marion Elementary, fifth grade; King Davis, Marvin Elementary, fifth grade

This year’s Best of School honorees are:

• RHS 2-D: Stephanie Wilson and Angel Arellano Vences, seniors; Aaliyah Hayman, sophomore
• RHS Digital & Photography: Josh Diechman, senior; Anahi Vargas, junior; Zaiedan Jean Louis, sophomore
• RHS 3-D: Antonia Constacio Salazar, senior; Skylar Mays, junior; Anneliz Tavares Munoz, sophomore
• Hoech Middle School: Sampson Varney, eighth grade; Andre' Hawkins, seventh grade; Savannah Lasley, sixth grade
• Ritenour Middle School: Audrey Brown, eighth grade; Emmett Brown and Roy Peterson, seventh grade 
• Buder Elementary: Lori Cruner, fourth grade; Micheal Jones and Britney Perez-Stage, second grade
• Iveland Elementary: Kasidy Eleby, Emma Robinson, Rosalie Ward, fifth grade
• Kratz Elementary: Emma Zerbe, fifth grade; Yeshua Lucero Lopez, fourth grade; Colton Stafford-Ashley, second grade
• Marion Elementary: Tegan Hanrahan, fifth grade; Thalia Gonzalez, fourth grade; Daia Warren, second grade
• Marvin Elementary: Peyton Dalton and Margarita Garcia, fifth grade; Skyler Wilson, second grade
• Wyland Elementary: Manuel Crossland, fifth grade; Amy Ousley and Aberden Wann, fourth grade
